CHANDRASHEKHAR THIRAMDAS (Chandra) is an astute professional with over 12 years of experience in the field of Non-Destructive Testing, Inspection, Welding, Risk – Based Inspection, Quality Management System, Training and Certification, etc. He has involved in inspection, welding, NDT consultation, Training & certification activities in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, United States of America, Chile (South America), Canada, Mexico, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, South Africa, Vietnam for various projects. He has vast experience in NDT, Training, inspection in Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Construction, Offshore and Marine Sectors.
Mr. Chandra is very well – versed in International Inspection Codes and Standards. He performed and led the inspection and NDT teams for various projects in India and Singapore. He has successfully completed Inspection and NDT services for two big projects (KAOMBO & BANYU URIP Project) at Sembcorp Marine Admiralty Yard (SMAY – Singapore), which are Tanker conversions to FPSO units. Currently Serving as Managing Director and Professional Trainer for NDT Worldwide, India and NDT Technical Consultant for Advanced Inspection Technology, Vietnam.
With his extensive involvement in various projects, Mr. Chandra is also enthusiastic and knowledgeable mentor, who has been a faculty in training, examination, qualification, and certifications of API (570, 510, 653, 580, 577, 571), CSWIP (NDT & Welding) and ASNT (all NDT Methods) in Gulf Countries, Southeast Asia including India. He is an excellent trainer with many certifications in Inspection, Welding, NDT and QMS.
